Criteria for assessing the risk health related to obesity and overweight body

There are three used criteria for assessing the risk health related to obesity and overweight body.

There are :

Body Mass Index(BMI)

Waist Circumferences

Other health risk factor

1. BMI

BMI is an weight assessment system which is used to give each one a score according to weight and their high.simple example,the higher your BMI score, the greater the risk of developing weight-related health problems.

Body Mass Index Classifies Weight :

Under 20 = Underweight
Between 20 and 24.99 = Normal Weight
Between 25 and 29.99 = Overweight
Between 30 and 34.99 = Obese Class 1
Between 35 and 39.99 = Obese Class 2
40 and above = Morbid Obesity (it’s very dangerous)

Here are some problem which caused by body fat:

1. Sleep apnea

2. Hypertension

3. Cardiovascular disease

4. Dyslipidemia

5. Osteoarthritis

6. Insulin Resistance

7. Heart disease and many more.

2. Waist Circumferences

waist circumference provide a prediction concerning to risk disease and also relating to score of your BMI.

The safe Waist Circumferences for men and woman can you look in below data:

For woman:

Waist of over 31 inches (about 80cm) indicates slight health risk.
Waist of over 35 inches (about 90cm) indicates substantially increased risk.

For man:

Waist of over 37 inches (about 94cm) indicates slight health risk.
Waist of over 40 inches (about 102cm) indicates substantially increased risk.

3. Other factor related to health risk are:

1. high blood glucose

2. have a high triglycerides

3. cigarette smoking

4. low HDL-cholesterol (HDL is "good" cholesterol)

5. high LDL-cholesterol (LDL is "bad" cholesterol)

6. Hypertension and many more.
